SUNRISE TREK UP MOUNT BATUR

This tour will start at a pick up time of midnight to 4am depending on where your hotel is located. On this early morning adventure we will escort you to the base of the mountainside where you will hike Mount Batur an active volcano.

Your expert guide and local Kintamani trekker will both escort you on a journey up the majestic volcano. This trek requires moderate to advanced activity levels, because you will be privately attended to, you can go at your own pace. You will not feel rushed, as sometimes when trekking with groups, there is more pressure to keep up with others. At the summit, you will experience the sweeping views and enjoy breakfast at the base camp.

Batur natural hot springs

Noted as “The greatest caldera in the world” by dutch geologist Van Bemmelen, Batur is one of the best natural wonders in Bali. Upon your descent down the volcano, you may want to relax and unwind after the trek. Enjoy submerging in the healing waters of the hot spring while you take in the scenic landscape that surrounds this magical location.

There are 4 pools available for you to choose, varying temperatures from warmest reaching up to 50 degrees Celsius and they offer the perfect opportunity to soak those sore muscles in the volcanically heated pools or cool off in the cold freshwater pools. Soaking in the healing waters of natural hot spring is one of the most effective ways to relax and rejuvenate in nature.

kopi luwak

After you unwind and relax at the mountain view hot springs, you will be taken to experience Kopi Luwak at a local coffee plantation. Here you can try some of the worlds most expensive coffee and learn about the bizzare yet interesting process of how the coffee is cultivated.

Tegalalang rice terrace

Take a moment to gaze at the panorama of these emerald green mazes of exquisitely sculptured rice terraces, lined with tropical swaying coconut trees. Should you wish to stroll through the fields, adequate footware is required, depending on the weather, the paths may be slippery. Or you may simply gaze at the spectacular view from one of the many vantage points.

TRADITIONAL MARKET

On the way back to your hotel we stop at a traditional Balinese market which provides fresh fruits, vegetables, spices, exotic flowers, clothing and Balinese ceremony offerings. A visit to a local market always provides a fascinating insight into the culture of the ‘Real Bali’.
